Sarah's pick of the Autumn trends to look for.

Ok so it is only mid August but the Autumn collections are arriving daily and I know many of you like to get an idea of the trends early on. Here I have chosen three trends which are going to be huge this autumn and ones we have bought for our shop and website.

                                                                
 

Great Plains Culotte - £65

These are not the divided skirts you might be imagining. These are more like a wide leg cropped trouser. Once we get accustomed to wearing these they will move onto slightly fuller leg shapes for winter and they are also everywhere for spring summer next year. They look great with heels, be it a court shoe, an ankle boot or a long boot.












Ponchos, capes and throws.



Fransa Poncho £42.99

These will look best with a narrower leg trouser or skinny jeans. A poncho or cape is perfect for that in-between summer and autumn time when a big coat is too warm. I plan to wear mine on the school run as I can pop it on over my jeans and head out of the door quickly - great for wearing in the car.












Leather

Leather, PU, Pleather - whatever we want to call it, appears on trims of tops or is seen as an A-Line skirts, shorter length tops or biker style jackets.

Autumn Collection

We have had a very busy time during the last few weeks at Caramel. Our Sale has almost finished (the remaining sale is now at 70% off) and we have received some of our Autumn stock. I know it seems strange to think of Autumn clothes now but we are not talking about thick jumpers, coats and gloves just yet.

The colours are fantastic. Bubblegum pinks, plums and soft greens as well as reds and monochrome black and cream. The tunics and dresses can be worn now with sandals and then warmed up later with opaque tights, leggings and boots.

We love opening a new delivery and I can normally tell by the "Oohs" that the team approve of our latest collection. One of the biggest "Oohs" came last week when we took delivery of a fantastic Mac by Noa Noa. Pale blue check with a belt and fantastic value at £79.

Meanwhile I have been up in London buying a fantastic collection for next Spring as well as accessories for this Autumn. More news on those and a great new brand I have found in a later blog.

Now I must get back to writing the details for our transactional website. I am still hoping to launch this in late September - so much to do, so little time!
